Japanese Mythology KOJIKI -2-

After Izanami died, she went to another world.
It’s a world after death, separate from the gods who live higher than the sky.

So Izanagi want her bring back.
He decided to go there.

He came to the door leading to the world after death.
There is a big door at the border of that world that you can’t enter and see inside.

Izanagi：“Hey Izanami, you here?”
Izanami：“What? What are you doing here!?”
Izanagi：“I want you to bring back! Let’s go back!”
Izanami：“No, I can’t. I ate some food made here.”
Izanagi：“What does that mean? Then can you negotiate with bigwig here?”
Izanami：“I don’t know. There is no point in doing that”
Izanagi：“please!”
Izanami：“Alright, I’ll give it a shot. But promise me. Don’t look at me negotiating”
Izanagi：“Sure! I promise! I never see you while you negotiating!”
・・・・・

Izanagi waited a long time.

Izanagi：“Hey Izanami, do you need more time?”
There is no reply.

Izanagi：“Hmmm, I think It’s OK if I just take a look… Oh my gosh! Izanami looked like Zombie! I have to run away!”
Izanami：“Izanagi！You broke a promise! I’ll never forgive. you!”

She and her followers chase after Izanagi.

Izanagi：“Oh my god, What should I do?”
When he thought that, he found wild graps.
He picked them off and threw Zombies.

Then, some zombies started eating, but some of them still coming after him.

Izanagi：“Come on! they still some after me!”

Next, he found bamboo shoot.
He threw it as well, some zombies eating.
But few zombies still come after him.
Next, he threw peach.

Then, they stopped chasing him.
Izanagi ：“Oh! thank god!”
He relived, but hear footsteps.
Izanagi： “What is this sound?”
Izanami： “I never forgive you!”

Izanami is coming after him.
Izanagi ：“Shoot!”

Finally, he blocked the hole in the cave with a stone.

Izanami ：“I never forgive you! I’m gonna kill a thousand gods in a day!”
Izanagi ：“A thousand gods in a day?! Then, I’ll born fifteen hundred gods in a day!”

From this conversation, it was discovered that Gods is born of even one man.

Anyway, after returning, he purifies his body by washing with water.
In doing so, various gods were born.
In the process, three extraordinary gods were born.
Called Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Susanoo.

Amaterasu is symbol of the sun.
Tsukuyomi is Moon, Susanoo is malevolent god.

Actually, Susanoo was entrusted with the sea, but he refused.

Izanagi ：“Hey! the sea is rough!”
Susanoo ：“I don’t care! I want to see my Mom!”
Izanagi ：“Mom? You mean Izanami？NO! Don’t choose own death! And you don’t know how scared I was!”

For this reason, he was banished from his father.
That’s why the sea always rough.

Next time, it will be about the rampage of Susanoo who malevolent god.
