Eat with refreshing miso made from tofu Zha jiang mian
Instead of meat, make it with tofu and okara. It’s sweet and spicy, so good! It’s not greasy and you can eat it refreshingly!

Don’t you leave the water running when you wash the dishes? Water is an important natural resource. Let’s use washtub. You can save 1/9 of the amount of water If you use dishwasher.
Ingredients
- Noodle for one deseving (for ramen, udon noodles are OK)
- Tofu 150g(half cake of tofu)
- Okara 50g
- Tianmian sauce (1 tbsp)
- Doubanjiang (1tbsp)
- Cooking sake (1tbsp)
- Soy sauce (1tbsp)
- Pepper a little
- Chili oil as needed
- Sesame oil as needed
- Cucumber as needed
How to make
- Let’s make tofu miso first. Drain the tofu for about 30 minutes in advance.(Click here for how to)
- Put sesame oil in a pan, add tofu and okara, and mix with the oil. If you you feel not enough oil, add more as needed.
- Add all the seasonings.
- Boil the noodles, serve on a plate, and put on tofu miso and cucumber.
